Åsas Tomtebod

At Åsas Tomtebod, located in Gislaved, Sweden, they make gnomes where everything is done by hand. Wool from sheep is felted and also used for the gnomes' beards. They also spin woolen yarn, which is used for things like Claes' mittens.

Many of the gnomes are named after Åsa's family; for instance, the largest vätte, Olle, is named after Åsa's father, and Lukas is one of Åsa's grandchildren. Here you can discover a world of gnomes, trolls, witches, and more, all handmade, so no two gnomes are exactly alike.

You can always write to us (at [email protected]) to ask what the gnomes we have in stock look like, as each one has its own unique expression, and we will send you pictures.
