Canett Furniture, based in western Jutland, supplies a wide range of furniture that we are currently adding to our collection, along with other home interior items. Here you will find a broad selection of decor, from pillows and wine racks to dining tables and chairs.
Canett Furniture was founded in 2003 in Lemvig, Denmark, with a clear vision to design and develop furniture for modern homes with a strong focus on high quality and timeless design. Through two decades, the company built a strong position as a supplier of furniture and decorative accessories in Scandinavia, with particular expertise in dining chairs, coffee tables, dining tables, sideboards and consoles.
The company was established in Lemvig in West Jutland at Jupitervej 16C, where it developed over the years into one of the leading furniture manufacturers in the region with 11-50 employees. Canett Furniture has always prioritised a dedicated team of designers and craftsmen working together to create unique, high-quality furniture with an innovative design approach.
At the beginning of 2020, troels denmark A/S invested in Canett Furniture as part of their strategy to offer customers a complete range of quality furniture – a "one stop shopping" solution. In collaboration with other shareholders, a new strategic direction was developed, shifting focus from primarily sourcing products from Asia to developing own models and designs, as well as moving sourcing to Eastern Europe.
The Covid-19 pandemic unfortunately hit Canett Furniture hard on both liquidity and capital tied up, as freight costs from Asia exploded to 6-8 times the normal level, while delivery times were greatly extended. Despite the new strategy being successful and the reception of new European designs exceeding all expectations, the economic consequences of the pandemic led to bankruptcy in 2023.
In connection with the bankruptcy, troels denmark took over all products, rights, customers, open orders and inventory to ensure continuity and stability around the Canett range. Kirsten Johs-Mathiasen continued as responsible for sales and product development. Customer service and order processing were transferred to the team in Møldrup, and the range was fully integrated into troels denmark during autumn 2023.
Canett Furniture's design philosophy is built on creating furniture that is easy to love and easy to maintain, in a quality that is highly appreciated among interior enthusiasts. The company takes great pride in offering a focused selection of home furnishing products with innovative designs that make products like the Cayman chair popular choices in Danish homes.
Following integration into troels denmark, new concepts such as "Dining Designed" for dining chairs have been introduced, where synergies between Canett Furniture and troels denmark become particularly visible. New models have been designed by renowned designers such as Morten Georgsen, bringing fresh perspectives and modern expressions to the range.

Textiles have a minimum of 25,000 Martindale, meaning they meet requirements for intensive use. Canett Furniture is now sold through troels denmark's extensive distribution network, covering Scandinavia and other markets in Europe. troels denmark, founded in 1982 by Jørgen Troelsen, has headquarters in Møldrup, Denmark, and ISO-certified production facilities in Wieruszow, Poland. The company sells to furniture stores in a wide range of countries and has also expanded to the US market with a showroom in Las Vegas and facilities in California.
