Nääsgränsgården was founded in the small Swedish community of Skene, near Gothenburg, and has spent more than 25 years specialising in modern design classics rooted in Scandinavian tradition. Led by Per-Anders Elled, the company collaborates with established Scandinavian designers to develop collections in exclusive original designs — you won't find these products anywhere else under another name.

The tomte — the heart of the brand

At the centre of Nääsgränsgården's world is the tomte: the classic Swedish gnome who, according to folklore, watches over the home and protects those who live there. The brand has a deep affection for this little figure and introduces new characters every year, continuously growing the tomte family. From small table decorations to larger statement pieces, there is a tomte for every home and every taste.

Seasons and collections

While Nääsgränsgården is best known for its impressive Christmas range — spanning gnomes, angels, lanterns, mugs and napkins — the brand covers the full calendar of seasons. Easter brings irresistible chickens and roosters in vivid colours, and the rest of the year is filled with seasonal home accessories and gifts for every occasion. The brand today supplies more than 2,000 stockists across 20+ countries.

Nääsgränsgården works with a network of independent designers and craftspeople, whom Elled and his team actively seek out at fairs and markets across Sweden. This approach keeps the range fresh, diverse, and rooted in authentic Scandinavian craftsmanship — products made with genuine passion that you can feel in every detail.
