Vance Kitira has chosen to cast his candles from food-grade paraffin that is completely purified of impure particles, and a cotton wick made of 100% cotton. The result is both incredibly beautiful candles with a unique and clear glow, and candles without any carcinogenic particles. The candles are tested and certified at the SGS Laboratory in France.

Timber® Candles – the original wood candle

A hallmark of a Vance Kitera candle is the rustic, textured surface that deceptively resembles bark or weathered wood. Each candle is hand-poured, and the special molding technique ensures that no air bubbles occur in the wax. This gives the candle an impressively long burn time—often up to twice as long as regular candles. As the candle burns down, it creates a beautiful "lantern effect," where the flame glows through the thick edge without destroying the outer shape.

Clean indoor climate and certified quality

Vance Kitera does not compromise on health. The candles are made from 100% food-grade paraffin (the same type used in the food industry) and pure cotton wicks. They are tested and certified (SGS tested) to be free of carcinogenic particles and emit neither soot nor smoke.
